OUR STORY

The idea of developing a small yet refined accommodation in the charming village of Cannole in the heart of Salento was born a few years ago among a group of friends united by a long-standing bond and a shared passion for the cultural, landscape, and architectural peculiarities of Salento, particularly the Terra d’Otranto.

The building has undergone extensive renovation and careful restoration, relying solely on skilled local craftsmen and artisans to ensure the necessary enhancement of the building's architectural features while incorporating modern elements, thus combining elegance, comfort, and efficiency.

THOSE OF LA CANONICA...

From a carefree 'chat' by the sea, the project took concrete shape after acquiring a fascinating building in the Salento architectural style, dating back to the early 20th century, which for decades served as the local Canonica.

Under the constant drive and qualified guidance of Daria, an architect, we supported and shared the lines of development through the various phases of the project, each contributing according to their own inclinations—from Cinzia's organisational skills, to the administrative expertise of her husband Francesco, to the creative contributions of Paolo, Daria's husband.

The project continues even without Cinzia, whose presence remains through her daughter Francesca Romana.
